Drop the kids off at daycare and dragged the Misses down to Wendover to troll for some pike and a hopeful musky.
Misses Livewell was still a bit green after the rough weather trip on Saturday. And, well, she was blowing pretty good from the east = 3 - 4 foot swells.

We ran up to a spot and trolled the shoreline deep for a couple of hours. Got a little bored so we turned off the big motor and drifted along a drop off next to a weed flat. Casting deep and coming back across the flat, I got a hit by a nice 31" pike.

We drifted a little longer as the wind picked up. So, we ducked into the Nation river for a bit of shelter. Trolled a while longer and Misses Livewell bumped into another 31"er (no, it is not the same fish

Cruised up and down the Nation, then back out on the Ottawa. Misses Livewell had a little snooze as the two-stroke started turning her guts.
We packed it in when the waves starting coming over the bow.
I don't think Misses Livewell is up for too many more of these weather extreme adventures. Personally, I think she looks hot in that survival suit (Markus, before you post another Richie Cunningham picture, step away from the keyboard

Had fun honey, we'll do it again real soon ... June is coming soon right?!
