Looking for a minnkota repair facility

Well, when the battery died at Quinte, I got PO'd and kicked the closest thing to me, which happened to be the minnkota trolling pedal. Well, turns out I may have tweaked it just a little . (gotta remember to kick stuff that is not 10 more expensive to replace than the original problem ).

Anyway, does anyone know of a Minnkota repair/ service facility nearby in Ottawa. Looks like I'm gonna need this TM pedal "reconditioned".

There is a place in Black Burn Hamelet but I can't remeber the name of it. G&G Lalonde recommended them to me so if you call G&G they can give you the name of the place and their number.

These guys do a great job and are fast as well. I wish they were there last year, thanks to them my trolling motor has been working fine this year.

Hey M.T. If they can't fix it or don't have the right parts, there is an authorized Minn Kota repair center in Kingston (there are only 2 in Ontario). It is called the Prop Shop. If you need a number let me know.

There is an official Minkota repair shop in Gatineau. I had to go there and found it by looking on the minkota warranty for repair centres. Had good service, pleased with the results.

At least your man enought to admit it. And let me tell you I do the same thing far to often.

HI MT livewell

I did have some probleme wit my pedal on my auto pilot like yours,,,,

and i baught anauther pedal,,,,,,,,,

there about 125$,,,,for a new one,,,,,there only one little electronnic board in there,,,you can put in in piece in like 5 min,,,and you will see if its corotion on some contact,,,,but that electronic board is seal,,, ,,,

now the probleme wit my motor ,,it those not turn on one side,,,,since ,,,it went up and down into the water when i was going full speed,,,,,,,, (that little plastic thing(colar)was not tight on the shaft,)

I would recommend staying away from the shop in Gatineau, had to deal with them a couple times and was not impressed to say the least

My motor wouldn't turn left, just dirt/sludge in the pedal which gums up the works Pop it open give'r a good cleaning and see what happens.
