Finished the Muskie Hunt Too Early!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Finished the Muskie Hunt Too Early!!!

Post by ady »

Under pressure from "Her indoors" I put the boat away and started some winter prep around the place. But this last weekend was beautiful and I kick myself for not getting out for one last go for the Muskie, did anyone else manage to get out????

Winter

Post by Seaweed »

Well I just tucked my boat away today for the winter sleep.

May she rest peacefully.... :?

Hated to do it because rest assured now we will get two weeks of fine weather... but that isn't what the forcast is calling for so I didn't take any chances... and it sucks bad enough winterizing the boat in fair weather .... it really blows doing it in minus degree temps. Oh well.... come on spring.

Where did I leave my ice fishing gear? :x

Is it mid-December already?

Why are you boys putting the boats to bed so early?

We had a nice wknd here, too, but there are just too many @#$%&*! viruses knocking on our doors since Shane started Nursery School. Can't stand it. So no fishin' for the "wolfe pack" this past wknd. We're probably done with the boat for the season, too, ady.:(

"Her Indoors"....

All you missed was the nice weather. Fished the lower Ottawa. Lots of fishermen out but nothing of any size to speak of. Picked up a 34 " last weekend and a 2 footer on Sunday and that was it. Great weather to wash lures. Funny fall on the Ottawa with lots of dinks being caught but few big fish (45+). Hoping to fit another weekend in before the end.
