Great to be BACK!!!!!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Great to be BACK!!!!!!!!

Post by FLOATFISHIN »

Yes yes, everyone break out the nasty jokes, ear plugs, and cold beverages......................................................FF's back!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been wayyyyyyyyyyy to long!!!!!!!!

Roxy and I as most of you know moved again   But it seems this is the house we are going to nest in for a long time.We had a good go of it, we finally found a house that is perfect :D Well it will be after a paint job, some zepplin flags, 4 beer fridges, a tackle room, and steelhead pics all over the place      (Roxy, please skip that text)

Well, not only have we not had a home pc, we still dont  looking into different service providers, but I can be on here again, thanks to landing a new job!!!!!!I am managing the "Home Iprovement" side of SPI Consultants. And the best part is, is I get to work with the woman I love too!!!!

So im sure everyone was wondering, HAS HE BEEN FISHING?????

Well.......yes I've got out once or twice

It was the 2nd weekend of Nov, when I got out for a bit.I finaly ran into Born To Pin!!!!!!!Man what a great lad, we shared a few drifts, and a few fishies too  Was only a day trip, and nothing really monsterous, but a ton of fun!

So after that I had the pleasure of sharing a day with Trevor, and Charles Sim (OttawaFishing) on rembrence day.Proud to have my poppy on we arrived on Coberg for 6am.I also in the past few weeks have recieved a certain fishing reel I ordered from a guy in the states, man what a beauty this bad boy is, I have been given a reel that will make and already has any die hard floater's jaw drop!!!!!

So out for a test run, the 3 amigo's were distraught by the look of the water. There seemd to be a spill of sort which turned the water BLACK, not mud dirty, literally black!!!!!So we opted to head further west.Well, to make this report a tiny bit shorter, we HAD A AWSOME DAY!!!!!! 3 different water bodies, and atleast over 50 or so fish  This is no exaduration, all fish were between 4-8lbs, all SILVER SILVER, but a few over 10 were lost in battle, low and behold there was no camera between the 3 of us either  Though thanks to a buddy who was there for the 1st fish of the day, we did happen to get one shot, this being the 1st fish of the day, and the 1st fish on a brand new centre pin!!!!

Havent posted a pic in awhile, so if they dont open can someone open em for ol float :P

So, the bows are just gettin started, and I plan fullwell to make this season a memorable one!!!! I have to beat atleast Markus

So thanks everyone for the pm's, and everyone who missed this ugly mug, but its official

FLOATS HOME!

WELCOME BACK and hope you guys are happy and settled in to your new home -- sounds like it (with the exception of the PC being absent).

I see you posted your pics from MyFishingPictures.Com. I used to, but then started having trouble, so just use the FH Gallery now.

Hopefully, someone more savvy will put your pics back up; looking forward to them.

Take care and good luck in the new house and new job, Float!

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Bout time FF!!

i was wondering what had happened to you. glad to see you weren't missing out on any fishing though.

the spill in cobourg was manure. apparently not bad enough to do any lasting damage but it was pretty ugly. they didn't expect any fish die offs from it (from what i understand anyway). would have been disheartening to expect to be fishing for the day and end up looking at a river of black poo.

Sorry I missed you a couple weeks ago. i was too busy looking like an butt on the wilmot. water was low and the fish weren't co-operating.
i'll chase you down sometime.

nice fish in the photo. thats a great way to break in a new piece of equipment.

I'll bring an extra fridge too, so you won't have to worry about giving up any space for my beers.

And steelhead pics, no worries for ya in that department. :(
