Gordo/RJ's Ice Hut Project.....(Updated Dec. 11th)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I agree with Hoss.

Us weight endowed folk, should pick on the little folk. :D

Afterall they do get an extra couple weeks of ice fishing. :lol: :lol:

Another day workin on the hut... :P

Todays task....

The Door....The Roof....The Stove...and another quote of "Sealer/Primer"

Drove out to BTS's homestead and picked up the woodstove....Awesome!...Thanks a Million Brian.....we got Porky fired right up when we got back...she'll be perfect!

Next up was the roof.....Tin roofing.... :wink:

Door was installed next.....

Hole was cut for stove pipe....Aluminum plates will be made this week at work to fit the pipe to the wall.....it'll be slick!

Those two were around......but didn't pitch in today... :lol:

Up next......RED Paint...(Tuesday).....Screw in Lexan Windows.....Door Latches and Lock Latch...Secure Stove to floor and set piping...And make benches....

Gordo decided we are gonna make benches that are actually a locklable box that can hold gear, battery and scoops and such....I like it!

RJ, I built the lockable boxes/benches in the house of fillets for accesseries. Seemed like a good idea at the time. :lol:

Your door might need a diagnal support tacked in.

Awesome stove! Looks like it's coming along great. :P

It looks great, RJ & Gordo. I'll bet you can't wait to get it out on the ice. You probably mentioned this some where in the thread already, but where do you think you'll be bringing it for set up?

I knew Porky would get some Run.... :lol:

Markus, Door is Rock Solid.....We both thought the same thing about the bracing...but she's all good... :wink:
