A good Day of fishing!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Wallyboss,

It was nice seeing you again on the ice and sharing some success! I'm sorry again for my cigar smoke (Wallyboss is a recovering smoker)...keep up the success Wally!

It was also nice to meet the infamous Joco from FH. The ailing Iceman described you quite well my friend (get well Iceman..we miss you man!)

Sorry I missed the opportunity to say hi to Jig Head, Little Cleo and Lucky4 (great pictures and post this year by the way) as I'm pretty much all business on the ice as well. I have to admit, being from the States, it's a bit intimidating not knowing any French to converse. Why couldn't I have moved to an area where I could use my German or Spanish languages?

Also nice to meet Bradford...who quietly put a pounding on the fish and lost the big one for the day! Bradford and I speak the same language, eh!

Joco,

I work with many Canadians where French is their first language. No need to change the language you feel most comfortable with on my part. I only wish I could communicate in French as well as you do in English on this site :D :D ! Perhaps, I'll bring my young kids along as translators for me next time. It's embarrassing when your kids start to teach the parents things, eh!

I look forward to some fishing again soon with you!

Tight Lines,

Hey ratsotail I told you already the cigar smelled good and I still can't stand the smell of a cigarette. But that sweet cigar smell was nice but not enough to break me, plus my new Survival suit was a gift I made myself for quitting for a year, So there is not refund on this.
I'm not one of those reform smokers that picks on everybody to stop smoking this time I did it for me .

Brad, don't worry I haven't caught anything in that bay either. I spent a good part of the day there Sunday with 3 missed bites to show. Then watched everyone else come over and catch fish all around me! I will be there Wednesday afternoon to give it another try though!!! :D

Hi Dan,

It was nice meeting you again down there. Thanks to you and Jig Head, we had an accelerated course on how to catch a crappie. It was really cool to watch the fish follow our lures on those vex!

An excellent day on the ice in deed!

Ratsotail, I don’t practice my German very often, however, I should be able to understand what you say and probably answer with a few words. As for the French, help me to improve my Spanish and I will teach you some French!

Yes, thank you so much Wallyboss! Your tricks and tips did the job for me. I had a blast fishing with you. And I'm now lobbying to get a Vex as a present!! I did caught a few on my own, but it was so much fun to learn on it.

That big crappie broke my heart when she left though. Haww!

JigHead, it was so much fun to spend the afternoon with you... And I did filet the fish...!

Little Cleo, the Vex is really nice it keeps most of the guessing out of ice fishing, and maybe if you were a good girl this year Santa might bring you one of them,(hint hint Lucky4)

Have a good one and it was nice meeting you guys again. It really was a huge crappy. Did you see the pictures yet ?? it's nice to see such a small fish causing such a big smile!!
