Anybody have this fish finder with some map cards. I do i am very happy with it I dont have any map cards are they woth it?? I am thinking of getting a southwest Ont one. Is it complete with toppograph information ( makes finding points and dropoffs very easy) I'm just wondering if it is worth the extra cash .

Absolutely worth it, no doubt at all. Just make sure you get the chip with the charts rather than the freedom maps (topo).

The Navionics chip I have covers Lake Ont., Erie, Huron, St. Clair (I think)
The Rideau and Trent Severn waterways as wll as some other waters.

Check out the Navionics site. www.navionics.com

Yah I bought the lake erie chip yesterday now I want to play with it but everything is in storage. :? I checked it out in the store, OMG he had a new colour one there with a screen that was HUGE!! The extra information will come in handy ( the store owner tried real hard to sell me a super chip with four diff areas on it I was actually glad the wife was with me)
