First time I see a mooneye caught through the ice. They do fight nice, I can imagine fighting one on a jigging rod must have been sweet. Nice pic.

What did it hit?
No wonder there are some monster 'lunge in the lower Ottawa, if they're chowing down on those!

Got the Mooneye on a jig and minnow ! It took a long time. It was hit and miss game for 5 minutes....
