Largemouth, smallmouth, musky, gar, bowfin, walleye then pikes. Any warm water fish that pull my rod and that I can catch in public lake and river is fine with me.

Chinook Salmon, out on Lake On. Kind of like catching a 30lbs smallmouth bass in 300 feet of water, oh yeah, with tons of endurance.
Followed by the Muskellunge.

Brookies on the fly in spring. That's #1 in my book. They are without a doubt the most spectacular looking fish in fresh water in Canada.
Bass on the fly is a distant 2nd. You haven't caught bass until you've done it on the fly!
Time's fun when you're having flies.

Everyone needs to think bigger than they are...
Nothing beats catching a 20 lb Red Snapper out of 500 feet of water in Vancouver!!!! What a thrill

Rock Bass.......................................as long as a big musky swallows it while I'm reeling it in.

For me, there's nothing like fighting an acrobatic rainbow or speckle on light tackle. I'm not even talking large bows, but ones in the 1-4 pound range. I don't think anything's funner than trying to take them on a light action rod and reel and 4-6lb test line.

Chromers all the way from the bank. Drifting structure for walleye is second.

I fish them all and like them all but nothing compares to the mighty speckle trout . The rest seem like wet noodles especially through the ice .
