White Lake Arnproir Area

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lads,

I'm pretty sure the White Lake you are refferring to that is stocked with splake is located just west of Sharbot Lake, it is also where the hatchery is or used to be. White lake in Darling township has a max depth of 30 ft not nearly enough for splake  But if GamblerSteve saw em on the Vu then what do I know

Cheers,

Rich

tip-up,

Did you actually see the stocking lists or you refer to information published in the Eastern Ontario Fishing Maps book? The information published in the book is actually for White Lake in Bedford Township (Frontenak Township, Kingston District of MNR), not for White Lake near Arnprior (Renfrew Township/Lanark Township, Kemptville District).
In the past 10 years White Lake near Arnprior was never stocked
with splake: I looked through the stocking list of both Renfrew District and Kemtville District.

Like I was asking, if it had been stocked I'm sure somebody would have caught one. I've been fishing White Lake since I was two......no splake.

Yes, I did refer to information published in the Eastern Ontario Fishing Maps Book.....What the heck are you talking about :?: The map and information is for White Lake located near Calabogie Lake, north of the town of Perth..Yes, the max depth is 30ft and it is stocked with the lake trout/brook trout hybrid splake :!:

''There are a few tent and trailer parks available at White Lake including Cedar Cove Resort (613-623-3133) and 3 Mile Bay Tent & Trailor Park...

Gamblersteve...the camera does not lie

I think I am going to have to :?

I have been camping and fishing at Cedar Cove for 7 years now and have never seen or heard of a splake caught in there either..Will do a bit of research because that would be a really big mixup....
