I agree with Fisher!! Action Angling phhhhh. Was that a serious video?? It look like they put some time into it but why did they waste there time with tiny perch from a dock??
I have a perch spot that I take my girlfriend to when she says I don't spend enough time with her. We consistently catch perch over 14 inches.
If your gonna try to impress people with shows like that do some leg work and find quality fish in nice spots...not some ugly dirty marina on lake Erie.
What did they fish for in the other episodes???
anyways...maybe I should film my fishing...then I could put my underwater video to work

Geeze man it was just a fun video not like I make a living at it but everyone else seems to enjoy it. I would like to be out catching huge fish on video but there's just nothing biting yet that we can get to with our means. We have only a small boat and truck so we're limited. Once the big channel cats & carp start biting that's when we'll have some exciting videos..NB Trouter wrote:I agree with Fisher!! Action Angling phhhhh. Was that a serious video?? I just found the video and had no idea what it was. I though it was a serious attempt at a show. It is actually quite good for a "just for fun" thing. I suppose what I would suggest is that you are more selective on what makes it to the show even if it is just for fun.
Not to tell you what to do but you don't have to make every day fishing into a video. Most shows try to make a show in a day... but they also fish at lodges A LOT (Mr. Izumi!!!
). Even though they try to make it in one day they sometimes still end up with shows that take a few days to put together. If you are pleased with your catch then put it in the show, but don't be affraid to scrap a days worth of bad video where the action is to slow to get a fish on video.
I watched the other episodes...the third one, the trout episode was good, but maybe i'm just partial to trout. The first few trout weren't huge but the last was respectable!! I would even say that it was a better show than most "The New Flyfisher" shows. One thing that The New Flyfisher shows has a tendency of doing is being to artsy, not catchin many or even any fish and when they do catch one they don't show it!! I like how you took the time to show the fish but still release it properlly.
If you have more shows like #3 then you might get a good crowd going and it could make future posibilities...fun stuff like this are the start of many good things!! I think putting pride into something and having high standards pays off.
I hope you don't take my suggestions as an insult. I look forward to watch your show grow.

Thats exactly right.I just found the video and had no idea what it was.
If you had taken the time to get to read BBR and Slededs posts you might have had a clue.
Instead with 3 posts and not knowing anyone you rip up the mans fun .Fun I might add that the rest ,who know these guys enjoy.
Lets see your first attempts hotshot.
Next time try a little research, then limit it to constructive critizism
Norm ( a little pee pee)
As spinner says
Good work on the videos
I enjoy watching them(they make me smile ) and love the passion the two of you have for fishing and the obvious enjoyment it gives you. It's great to see you share it with others
