Fishing Week-end - Kashwakamak Lake June 2,3,4

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey Mr J. This week-end ain't like past week-ends that I have organized accommodations and food for 50.

Think of this trip like one fella saying "Hey - who wants to share a cottage?"

And when I have enough to share a cottage I will put down a deposit.

If I fill a cottage and others want to go, they will have to look after filling their own cottage themselves. If Kevin has no cottages left than they are out of luck.

I spoke to Kevin too. Truthfully, his 10 man cottage is not likely to be filled in the next week.

If it is a problem then I am sure there are other places that can accommodate a cottage full of anglers. The first week-end of June is hardly prime time for lodges. I am going fishing somewhere, whether it is Fernleigh or not.

Here's an update as of Sunday morning around 11:00. I dropped by to see Kevin from Fernleigh at the Carp show. I have booked his ten man cottage. At this point it looks as though there are six of us splitting the cottage at 160/night.

Looking for four more adventurous souls to fill this cottage.

Funny - when I was talking to Kevin at the Show this morning he said that there had been about fifteen guys enquiring about the June 2 week-end. He inferred that some were panicking that I had not booked a cottage yet. Please accept my apologies if my lack of booking has caused you discomfort. I've got the cottage booked and hope that we can manage to get four more guys to fill it.

In the first post on this thread I have created a list of anglers who are going on this trip. I'll be updating it as people let me know they are going.

We are now looking for three people to fill the 10 man cottage.

This unfortunately conflicts with the family trip up to the Gouin. :( Sounds like a great time/opportunity though... it looks fantastic.

I strongly encourage you (anyone) to do this type of thing again this summer! :)

Mr.J... rest assured, your lures will get their fair share of water time in the Gouin... stay tuned for pics!! :D

cheers,

Again, those of you who haven't experienced Ferliegh Lodge have missed out. Amazing place and the scenery and the fishing are second to none.
The owners and hosts Kevin and Melisa will treat you like family.
