I've noticed new people join this site each day and you gotta start somewhere and post something to get started. If I could help I would but I dont know the area. I dont know if everyone is a "lurker" but this is a public forum so anyone can read it and get info if they so chose. I do understand the frustrations some people have regarding people who just come on when they want something, and dont contribute back. I've seen people who registered a long time ago and have only a couple of posts, I can see the point there. But this is this guys first post, give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he will be a regular contributor as I have become since I joined. I dont think people should be publically critisized for everone to read. Sorry Ganman, but I do understand where you are coming from.

You're absolutely correct Badger. This posts and the other though look like countless others that just want info.
I'll offer this much. Look for deeper weedbeds, coontail to be specific and dunk'em with a big 1/2 oz flippin jig. If it's later in August look for floating weed mats from uprooted weeds.

Easssssy ganman.
What if this person is simply not familir with any of the area watters (such as myself), therefore can't really contribute advice for 99%% of the questions on this board. Everyone's got to start somewhere, put your "master of the universe" attitude aside and if you don't want to reply back to a "lurker", nobody's twisting your arm.
There's plenty of fish out there for everyone. Have you ever considered that if a newbie gets some good tips on this board, it will turn them into a regular contributer and they will tell their friends, and so on....
Just my 2 cents, b/c I really appreciate all the help others on this board have given me in the past, even though I don't have over 1000 postss.

Sorry man i am new to this site and i usually fish the opiniocon I go there every year and i have a chance to fish clear lake for once and thought it might be nice. So i was just asking for advice that's all man. If you think i am a luker than that's fine, you don't have to help me out.
How do you like to fish for bass... That may help.
I rather throw cranks off the rock points and islands on that lake. Tubes are awesome too.
It's called clear lake for a reason... You can see 20 feet down and often you'll be sight fishing... I have bounced jigs on their heads and they still wouldn't bite little buggers!
Oh yeah... welcome to Fish Hawk!
