The perils of two flies

Post by bobfly »

I was at a brookie lake behind Calabogie this morning and as many of us do, I had two flies on my sinking line. I got a small hit...oh yeah, another 10 incher and then my rod went right over. Hmmm, this is a bigger one. I brought in the line eager to find which fly was taken and there was the 10 incher. Pretty good fight for a little begger! And then as I was removing the fly while he was still in the water, I noticed another 10 incher on the trailing fly. Now, does that make a 20 incher? Fur nymphs seem to be my best flies for the last month.

I had the same thing happen at least 6 times while in a hot spot on the Mississippi last Thursday.

Do I dare 3 flies?
