Bass, Cod then more bass

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bass, Cod then more bass

Post by UGLYSTICK9 »

Well its been a while since I have been home because i just got home from PEI. Before I left I went bass fishing with my cousin and big rideau basser. It was a HOT day so I figured the bass would be under some cover and the results.

Sorry about the black, YFF makes me do it

The day after I left for PEI. I had a really great time. Oe day we headed out deep sea fishing and it was an awesome time caught a few cod and the meal was excellent. ANother bonus was a whale sighting on the way to the spot. PIC OF COD TO COME

I got back yesterday and decided to go fishing for bass again today. The pic of the bass I caught probaly just under 2 pounds didn't really work but I got a pic of a nice smallie I got. Stretched out like that the camera case is about 8.5 inches to give you a basic idea. I was by myself today so i did the pics like that

Also decided to go to a place i know for carp and had my first one ever on. But it was too much for my light action uglystick and after about 30 seconds my line got hooked on a peice of wood and snapped. Estimated at about 10 pounds. One of the most exciting moments in my short fishing career 8) There will be more carp to come though

Those are some quality fish, Uglystick.

Too bad about the lost carp, but I'm sure it was fun while it lasted! :D

Is YFF back from his exotic fishing get away????

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
