What a great night..Muskie and pike

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What a great night..Muskie and pike

Post by muskymatt »

Hoghunter and I headed out for an afternoon and night of muskie fishing.

Man what a night.

every stop we made we caught fish

On our first stop we had a lost muskie , and another muskie hookup and lost a 38-40 " while in flight ..2' out of the water

Soon after we hit this pike

We relocated and hooked up with another pike

After some good trollin and lots of casting we headed back to make our final run , and what a good choice we made

What a night , thanks HH, Jeff .A great time on the water with you tonight .

It measured 43.5" and was nice and healthy , good release .

It almost bit my thumb off though .
All the blood is mine.

I forgot to mention Hh and I saw the Fishin Canada rv with Pete and Ange on the way to the launch and we managed to get a honk and a thumbs up from them , we joked it was a good omen and surprise we got a decent ski

We had a good laugh over that

Excellent Matt! She's a beauty. You were due brother, congrats! :D

That's a bit of blood though, as mentioned b4, hope it wasn't the casting hand man.
