Boshkung Lake?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Boshkung Lake?

Post by Sof »

I might be going with my family to a cottage on this lake for the weekend and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the fishing is good there. And/or someone who has fished there before and could give me some insight and what to expect.

Thanks.

The bass fishing is awesome I can tell you that. Try a jitterbug or buzzbait in the evening off rock bluffs or points and hold on tight!

There was a lot of boats fishing at the bottom of Buttermilk falls when I was up last week. By the looks of things, they were fishing lakers. Might be a spot to start.

Didn't have much luck. We only had an inflatable boat. Couldnt really find any visible structure, total let down. Then we fished another part of the lake, in a bay. I was throwing 4inch power worms texas rigged in weeds, sunken logs, drop off points. Caught a rock bass, my only fish.
