My thoughts exactly... !!!
I'm all for animal's rights... ie. I beleive animals should not be killed needlessly for fun/sport/fashion. If it's for food, or if it's a matter of survival, that's a different story
...but that just ain't right...
I really believe that a lot of those PETA people have sustained serious head trauma. If they had any idea how true fisherman treat their catch. Then maybe they would have change of opinion, but I doubt it. It is just another group of people try to force their ideas and beliefs on everybody else.
I practice catch and release most of the time and the fish is in as quickly as possible, and back in the water as quickly as possible. My dad always taught me only keep what you are going to eat and nothing more, and that is what I'm instilling in my children. In fact we have even brought a few blue gills home and put them in our fish tank! They now have no predators, and have plenty to eat. I expect PETA to think that was wrong too!
They're a bunch of irrational losers. I'm willing to bet that fishermen and hunters contribute WAY more money to the conservation and restoration of our outdoors than does peta.
we have a moral obligation not to leave garbage and old fishingline laying around our fishing spots
if you find any please pick it up,take it home and discard it. dont let a few bad apples spoil it for the majority of us .
AND DONT LET PETA HAVE ANYMORE AMMINITION TO BAD MOUTH FISHERMEN
however it wouldnt surprise me if peta didnt plant garbage for their videos
peta seems to say all fishermen are bad based on a small percentage
