Why does one stupid reply cripple the forum for a day

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Why does one stupid reply cripple the forum for a day

You all know what I'm talking about , so why does the forum slow down after a negative reply.

it's only fishing and is supposed to be fun.

Answer or don't but at least think about it.

matt, you're right. i think it's because everybody gets a little ticked off and people are mad when stupid things are said. people pick and chose sides. this is a site to informe one and other. to communicate, not to insult. well i'm sorry for what things have been said. but we are a community. let's keep it that way. enough said on that topic.

I just don't like it when a negative reply can mean hrs of no topics or replys, I could be wrong but it seems a negative cloud seems to shadow us after every argument.

Just my observation.

You haven't read a Monster post yet I assume.

Negativity on most of the boards I frequent lately.. must be a phase before everyone's kids go back to school.

I feel all the boards should adopt a policy that people use their real name. I find sites that enforce this have less people posting insults and comments while hiding behind an alter ego and avatar.
