hope so ....anyone reccomend a cottage to rent for the weekend down there near some pickerel of course....also besides shermans point how does picton bay measure up for eyes??

Check out Fosters Fishing Center, or Merlands Camp, they seem to know alot of what is going on. And have lots of room. Look them up on the web

The walleye do not start to show up in numbers until late October or early November in 'The Bay'.

The bite is OFF and no one (I've talked to or been in contact with) has had any luck at all.

Like Eye Tracker said, later in Oct and into Nov.

Ok.. me and the fellas are heading down to Shermans Point this weekend. Curious to know if anyone is getting any Walleye at all there?

Sure would be a sweet weekend if I hit s few nice picks..

There are some good fish being caught but you have to work for them. You are fishing for about 4 bites all day, but they have been good fish. I know of a 12 that came out on Sat

The best is definetly yet to come, but having chased gold all over North America, it is still better than when most fisheries are considered "hot". Now if it would stop blowing and raining we would really be able to tell!

Come on... wind was only 30 knots (54km/h) last time I was out. Have to love this unstable fall weather.
