All things good and bad!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

All things good and bad!

Post by Chris Hockley »

Hello All!

It's been way too long since I last visited this site. I don't ever get near any online forums... they all seem to be places that the weak and disgruntled come to share their wacky views.

This site is so much different and very refreshing! My hat's off to all of you.

I hope that everyone's season has gone well.

I would like to offer the tip that the smallies and 'eyes have really turned on on the Kawarthas recently. Scugog has been on fire!

Heading out on Thursday to Simcoe. Any anglers visited the big lake for smallies recently?

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was a great one spent with family... between fishing trips!

Bass Wishes,

Chris Hockley

Let me be the first to welcome you back and you are right most people on here are a great bunch. And there are very few times when people get snippy but it happens occasionally.

Good luck fishing this weekend.

Hey Chris,

Good to see you got some time in to post here at FH.

Overall, we have a good group here. You have some knuckleheads here and there, but a good group nevertheless.

Have had a great season thus far with our favorite species to target and catch, the smallies :D .

We have caught some quality smallmouth this year, it has been a blast with our new boat.

I will be in touch and send you some pics of some of the smallies we were able to get.

Great to see you posting again. Like my signature pic? You took it my good man 8) .

Best,

Dennis

Good to see you guys in here. Glad that your boat is treating you well. I still want to get you out on Simcoe... lets plan on it!

So what ended up as your favourite body of water this year?

Chris,

I agree with you, that we've got an exceptionally good group on FH.Net. There's plenty of fishing talk, helpful advice & lots of great reports, but there's also some good comaraderie which often gives me a good laugh. Things have changed in the past year, but we're right on track and chugging along! :D

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

:D I normally target muskies this time of year on Scugog. Where do the smallies hang our. Only a few deeper holes that I am aware of.

Smallies

Hello Salmon...

Fish points anywhere on the lake! Don't have to be fishing deep water. Anywhere you find rocks... spend some extra time.

Tubes, crankbaits and topwaters all work well.
