Getting Ready for Quinte!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Getting Ready for Quinte!!!

Post by Bender »

Hey all , myself and a buddy are heading down to Quinte this weekend on Friday to try for some big girls coming in out of the lake. Anyone else heading down this weekend? We'll be staying at Merlands.
The board's been very quite this year in regards to Quinte and walleye :?
I rememder there being a lot more action last fall.

I'll post a report when we get back and let everyone know how we did.

They're starting to show up now Bender. But more importantly, the bait fish schools seem to be easier to locate now too.

Had friends down the last week who nailed a few.

Good luck!

hey xcal, we'll be in a Princecraft Pro 166 , don't know whether or not the top will be up,depending on weather I guess. By the reach I assume you mean Adolphus and not Long, we'll be near or just past the lighthouse.
Keep an eye out.

And yes Daver I'll be bringing the BIG net this year. I was at the fishing store on Merivale last night and they didn't have the same one I left on the side of the 417 this summer (really surprised it blew out of the boat :? ) and for that matter they didn't have any Taildancers either, so maybe you can save yourself a trip.

TL1, if my luck stays the same as it has in previous years, there'll be plenty left for us next weekend :D

Good day Bender; As I stated in my report to Grimace a group of us will be heading down to Quinte on Friday and we are also staying at Merland's for the weekend. Hopefully we will get to meet you and the weather co-operates and everyone catches some nice fish. Good Luck!

HitmanHill, we're in cottage #3 (I've been told it's on the water), stop by and say hello and have a beverage!

It is in the water...14foot tinny boat with a bimmy top and ice cooler    . I am sure Kevin will take good care of you.

Good luck out there this weekend boys...the fishing has been hot all week with some great charter and guide reports coming in. I have been on them the last couple of weeks, but they are moving a fair distance every time we get a big 'BLOW' from the west or east.

I have never been there before Bender but I know the cottage we have sleeps six so it must be a fair size. Apparently it isn't on the water but I don't think it is that far away. We will definitely drop by and see how you guys are doing.
