Need muskie partner for tomorrow(Wed.)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

We should be putting in at Wendover at about 6:30am tomorrow and pulling out at 6:30pm tomorrow. I have been warned that it will be a full day's worth of fun. Report to follow.

Musky Outing

Well Matt and I hooked up and hit the river off of Wendover for eight hours of hard work.

Trolled a bunch of different presentations. Casted some shorline. We were only rewarded with two brief hook-ups but the fish got unbuttoned both times. Wise Fish in the same area we think.

All I can say was that I got a nice Musky workshop day on the water with an extremely musky savvey guy. Great boat for this type of fishing. We swapped tons of tales and I gotta say that I really enjoyed every minute of it Matt. Thanks

I learned two things today... or relearned two things today.

One ... plenty of what I do trying to catch this fish is bang on... despite my inability to hook up fish this fall.

Two... most Muskie Fanatics are great people... and this Muskie's Canada member that I was out with today made a long day on the water doing what we really enjoy doing feel like just a couple of hours rather than a long days work.

I owe you one Matt. Let's do it again sometime. 8)

so........ How was the day ? The weather was great for November, foggy on my ride in this am along the parkway, my visor kept on getting fogged up while I looked at the calm water of the Ottawa. At least it was not raining.

Thanks for the report Seaweed, I guess we were typing at the same time
