Some unfortunate news

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Paolo, you'll be fine.
The wife and I will keep you in our prayers. Best of luck, and remeber I will need a partner next year for MR J's second annual fishing derby. Keep well and god bless.

Hi, in light of the news that one of the members of Fish-Hawk has taken on the fight with cancer, I was wondering if organising an ice-fishing derby to raise money for the cancer society would be possible. They have runs, walks, golf tournaments, etc. Maybe with getting some sponsors on board for prizes all ebtry fees could be donated or something. Anyway, just an idea, but I beleive it would be good for all involved. We get our lines wet and have some s*its and giggles all for a good cause. "the K-pin annual ice fishing derby" kinda got a nice ring to it eh?

Paolo

You know we are all pulling for you.

I know you'll be fine, I have had several friends with the same cancer and they are all fine to this day.

I really want to thank you all for the great support. I expected to go for a simple consultation on Thurs. just to be given the news, they now want me to check in as early as tomorow morn to run a barage of tests. Well, quick action is better than letting it get out of control, so I'm cool with that...its just all happening so very fast.

Thank you all again for your kind support. It's exactly reasons like this that seperate the people here from others and why I love this site and its' members.

Thanks greatly gang.

Paolo,
Michele and I will be thinking of you.

Hang in there and get better.

We still need to get back out in the boat together.
