Can we skip winter? - New ride

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Can we skip winter? - New ride

Post by eye-tracker »

Well all this talk about ice fishing on FH.net and I have to wait out the winter while rigging my new ride for 2007. My new Tracker TUNDRA just arrived in time for winter storage.
I have to break-in the 175 OptiMax before the first MWC tourney in mid April.

Beautiful boat Eye-Tracker:
Not afraid of getting of getting it dirty with scales or blood? My wife would have me laying down carpet over the existing carpet or plastic everywhere!!! The only thing that will make the boat nicer will be some large walleye in it! Congrats on new boat and good luck in upcoming season. I don't think I could wait till next spring to break it in. I would be trailering it down to Florida for a few weeks!!!

SWEET boat Sheldon...

I would not be able to wait until the spring... Even if you can't get it in the water I would still be in it.....casting bread for seagulls...

Hi Eye-Tracker,

Nice ride Bud! heres a tip I learned when I got my new 07 trackers, make sure you have a strong tie down on that trolling motor, or she will come right off. Our boats lost one, and the other got damaged. Make sure shes strapped down real tight! She's hot looking ride!

Gotta love that fold in toung eh!

Cheers!

Hey Sheldon,

I'll bet you're chomping at the bit eh? But isn't it a bit underpowered? :D Good to see you again. I may be back out next weekend (8,9 & 10th) to try one last gasp for a double digit...still stuck at a couple of puny nine pounders for the year. Congrats on the new ride.

Thanks'
I run lots of rough water, so my trolling motors are always secured with RAM Mounts to brace them during the pounding runs.
