Can we skip winter? - New ride

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Sheldon: I have a solution for you...If you cant wait till winter try tying the boat to the back of a ski-doo and drive around a lake for a while...the snow is like the water hitting your face and it wil be just like spring. Or you can give the boat to me and you will not have to worry about waiting till next season.

It IS called a "Tundra" after all...

Congratulations on the gorgeous new boat. If boats could be considered sexy, this one qualifies. Best of luck and times with it, ET!!!!

After a few test drives and fishing tourneys in the 21 and 18 foot TUNDRAs I decided to go with the 18 because I liked the way I could control the boat while jigging in rivers and holding over top of a reef in high winds. They both ride the same in rough conditions thanks to the 25" transom and the extra long shaft motor. Both boats do 60mph...so the 18 won out in the end as it is easier to launch on small gravel ramps and easy to get into some of the small lakes I like to fish.

Skip Winter

Post by Joey Rat »

Heck, new boat or no new boat, lets skip winter. The only place I like hard water is in my rum.

No question though it is a pretty boat.

Note to self, must not suffer from boat envy.

Nice ride SHeldon.

You got the dream boat of many fisherman there.

Can you get a full top for the Tundra's?

Enjoy the ride.
