Ice fishing for Disabled ?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ice fishing for Disabled ?

Post by gogolfer99 »

Asked this last year but always looking for new locations. My wife wants to go ice fishing. We are willing to drive 2 hours and would consider staying overnight. She uses a cane and can't walk a long distance so it would be great if we had transportation to a heated hut. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Dave :P

Just curious having found out the hard way. Do the shacks your suggesting have the holes inside where they are easily accessible or are they the ones outside which wouldn't help if she has a cane. Once you move west of the Ottawa river all the huts seem to have the holes inside.
