Heading up to Mink lake

We ll gents my weekend with the boys if finally here. Will be heading to Mink lake this weekend for some pike and wally action.


Hopefully the ice gods will be with us . Will let you all know how it went and hopefully will have pics to share.

Is that the mink lake up near Eganville?

I fished it a few years ago on a tight schedule with limited success. What is in it anyways? And does it produce pretty well?

Yes it is! There's pike , walleye, bucketmouth's and smallies, perch, crappies and catfish. We've had pretty good success. You need to now where the holes are. The can be shallow at some places.

Have you ever caught crappies in Mink Lake?! I was unaware that they were in there. A co-worker lives on the lake and has done fairly well with pike. We don't seem to get the crappies further up the Valley, but I wish we did.

I would like to try mink lake in summer time but how do I get there and does mink lake have public boat lauching?? I will be happy if you tell me where!!!
