HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL.....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ok, I'm gonna say it! We all want our ladies to feel special, right? Let me ask you this though...isn't it about love? About 2 people together? About the wonderful bond they share? Isn't that why we celebrate Valentines Day?

I thought so....ok, so why.........?

Is it all about women? Taking them out to dinner? Buying them gifts? Acting like the perfect gentleman?

when......

If your lucky, you get a card from the dollar store, pay for an expensive dinner and gift and have to bend over backwards?

Meanwhile during the rest of the year, you have to practically beg just to go out fishing once in a while to releive stress?

Something to think about eh lads???

(I suggest you bring this subject up, AFTER lovemaking has finished).

Ok, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, ok, you've done you're job, you'll get lucky after that speech, congrats. I just thank God I didn't read that Hallmark moment shortly after dinner, or I'd have quickly lost it!

Oh, Kpin...there's so much I'd like to say, but....!

Now, Paolo, you are most definitely generalizing women, but you make me laugh anyway! We're not all after jewelry or expensive gifts, but a little romance or a gesture of appreciation is always welcome. Not just when you're looking for a little action  but when it's from the heart.

Badger is right..... though he is "Mr. BS" (to quote his wife  ) and is laying it on a bit thick.

Brian and I had dinner plans tonight which had to be put on hold due to the blizzard sitting over our house since last night. About 28" of snow on the ground now between what was there and the new stuff. The cars are buried & the wind's kicking in. So....Brian has homemade baked ziti and marinated chicken wings in the oven. If he's a good boy, there could be some more heat in the kitchen later.

Happy Valentine's Day to all my bud's on board. Have a good one.

Kpin, we have got to find you a nice, caring lady to show you we're not all like the ex. That should be do-able; apparently, the trick will be finding one who likes to fish. From reading some of the recent posts, some of you fellas have it rough!

I will say this, being a bachelor has a few advantages. Free to come and go as you please. No one nags you for having that extra beer, coming home late or scratching yourself. Hmmm actually, there is no nagging.
Sex becomes an act that doesn't require any pityfull begging. Oh and completely normal bodily functions like burping and farting are no longer a cardinal sin. Pornography can once again be appreciated for the artform it is. No need to deal with moments of sheer insanity, that oddly enough seem to occur every month. There is of course many, many more.

However,

There is nothing more amazing than the bond of a woman and man who love each other and would go to any length to secure the others happiness. Nothing sweeter than the others smile when it actually wipes away everything in the world that is bad, in a mere instant. Nothing softer than their touch and nothing more soothing than their voice.
Nothing closer to heaven, when their body is entwined with yours in the moments of exstasy.

OK, all you lovebirds satisfied now :?: :!:

Please excuse me while I go grab a beer, scratch myself and shake the walls with an almighty burp.
