Granted it does not have the highest level of build quality but it is portable, light, very quick to setup and holds decent heat. (As you see in the picture, with the heater I use it gets insainly hot) One of the members had one of these and said the windows shattered in the cold.
I can see how this would happen as the plastic does feel brittle in the cold. But if this ever happens, I know 3M makes a clear plastic material which is impervious to cold.
I know how good clams are as many of my friends have them. But when push comes to shove, if ya want to hike deep in the hills of the highlands, Clams are out of the question. This golf club size pack for the sub zero works great.
I have the 4 person model which is perfect for 2-4 people. I am 5'11" and can fully stand up in it. Very nice feature.
