I've driven by a couple of the sign advertizing the show, but didn't pay close attention. Is the show the weekend after Easter, or two weeks after? Gotta ask so I can "book" my time....
Thanks,
B.

Wow why is it so late this year? I could have sworn that for the past 4 years it was in mid-March...or maybe I'm just nuts

For those of you who intend to take in the Carp show, drop by the Ottawa Flyfishers Society booth and say hi. We'll be tying flies for sale and we can give you the lowdown on everything flyfishing. I will try to be there for the Saturday morning or afternoon. Some other flyfishing F-H members will likely be there, too.

The Carp Spring fishing show is always a good one! It sort of kicks off the regular fishing seasons for me.
The Fall show is also a good one for those of us who also hunt.

I'm more of a hunter than a fisherman. But now that I've got a boat, I'm changing that a little bit.
I'm planning on going to the show this spring, I haven't been to one yet.
I have been to their show in the fall the last couple years and enjoy it.

Walker,
We weren't at the Landsdowne show (it's just too expensive for a booth!), but we are regulars at the Carp show.
The OFS will follow the Carp show with its annual open house in mid-May. I'll post details about the latter as we get closer.
