Well to tell the truth I am really looking forward to micro tubing for crappie from the boat this year.
My wife picked me up a nice assortment of Crappie Micro Tubes that are just talking to me from the basement
I never spend enough time doing this and this year I am going to devote a bunch of time to finding some good crappie holes and pounding them into a couple of good feedings.
MMmm they are tasty and such little scrapers for thier size.
But then again, I have no choice until big game season opens up.
Well, either crappie or catfish:)

(How do you guys fish swimbaits? Any special knack or presentation?)
I've found swimbaits to be a real pain when casting, the weighted ones seem to be real snag-magnets, but I've actually had some great success on northerns trolling 9" Storm Swimshad and 10" storm kicking minnow.
Got a couple of the new Rapala Minnow Raps, perch and fire tiger I'm itching to try. Ordered 10 Walleye rigs from a guy at work. He makes his own and some of the other guys swear by them. Heading up to Kipawa in May to see how they work.
