My new Ride

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My new Ride

Post by MuskieWannabe »

Here she is. A 14' 1998 Starcraft with a 2000 Mercury 25Hp 4 stroke. It comes with 2 swivel seats that aren't in the pictures but they'll be there keeping my butt cozy. Once I get her in the water she'll be perfect for chasing those muskies! I've been looking for a while and decided that the boat was what I wanted and the price was right so no point in delaying. The gf wasn't too happy but she'll thank me once she's out there. Cheers,

MuskieWannabe

Fordman,

Got it all figured out and had the downpayment paid before I left the office. May 5th is the pick-up date, so I think the 6th will be spend cruising around the mighty Mississippi. Now all I need is a fishfinder, trolling motor, muskie net, more muskie lures, new tacklebox...

congrats :D

Now you have to wait like the rest of us for the ice to melt!

I too made the big boat purchase just a few weeks ago. I can hardly wait to dip it into the water.

It looks like a lot of us bought a new boat. The waters will be pretty crowded this summer. My boat is similar to yours muskie. 14 foot Misty River with a 20 hp Yamaha. See you out there.
