Fishing report just south of the border.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing report just south of the border.

Post by CrappieKeith »

Dadshamp , Adam, Juggs,MT,Mallard,Mark,Thrilla,Greg & myself all got there about the same time & headed out.
The shore was solid which was my 1st concern, but thanks to HotRod&Bigtime prefishing the spot I knew it would be O.K.
Thanks men.

Today was Dadshamps day,in our tent anyway.Boy did he lay a licking on those slabs.
He caught the 2 biggest .Adam had a good 13 on to the top of the whole but tried to hoist. That one got lucky.
I was DS's photographer to day.Might as well called me a jock strap ,cause all I was good for was support.

So I hear twinkletoes outside the tent(MT)
He's a sneaky fellow trying to catch some cather's in the act of catch-n.
Image
DS has got those fish's ticket today.Look at how the jig is hooked he say's he say's.
Image

Thrilla comes over to show us this mule.
It sure was a beaut!
Image

Not much later DS drills this one and from the looks of the pic he's stunned.
Image
Then he gets into proper form.
Image

Now you may think this is the same fish, not!
This was the 14 that was released.
Image

MT & Juggs did show up 30 minutes after we got there .Jack got there 1st Watch this.
Image
Having MT & Juggs with you is like having Abbott & Costello, then add in Adam & Dadshamp .Now you have a real hoot on the ice.
Image

Thrilla & Greg are 2 real nice guys too.
You'd never be put off by them at all.
I saw some minnows there on the ice by them & really gave them a verbal shot. Jokingly of coarse.
Nope just the jig today CK.
Image

We had fun laughing & joking while DS put some serious hurt to those fish today.
DS gave all of the crappies a shot today even this fellar.
Image
When we needed someone to lean on Adam was there, you can always count on him.
Image

Mallard & Mike left early cause they had what they came for ,a full limit.
Dang can those boys fish and if you look at our group I think you can see how everyone was feeling!
Image
I save the videos for last.
the 1st 1 is Adam and the rest are Dadshamp. My new found HERO!
Actually his wife the Goddess was the one who gave him the big fish.
Everytime she called he'd get a monster. What a talisman

Hey...maybe even get him to guide you somewhere up here..:)

After all..he is only 1000 km away, yet posting on an internet board in ONTARIO. Incredible. Apparently there is no internet to advertise in Minnesota,...lol.

Waterfowler, I am not sure what your trying to say here..You post as though you are talking out of your arse..Is there something wrong having a few Americans on the forum because if you have not already noticed, we have many!

Keith fishes with these people on somewhat of a regular basis, just like I fish with many people from this board..They are his freinds...Not clients.

Get a life and grow up...

Glad to hear the Big Sandly Lake last ice G2G went off without a hitch CK...All faces in that photo look familiar and happy  Hope I can make my way up there one day...What a way to end the season!!

Sorry Keith, I warned you about this :?

Good Fishin'

C'mon guys we are all fishermen & if we were on the lake this kind of rhetoric would not be present.Let's just be like we are on the water having fun ripping lips.
I've been down this road before.
That's why I'm not promoting what I've been making to get these fish.

I just wanted a place to go to that was pure of heart.A place that no one could say your just selling a product.

I love fishing, teaching others to fish & being in the outdoors.
I also hunt a lot.
Anything that Mn. sells a liscence for I own.

We got lucky with this cold snap & to be back on the ice is wonderfull.
Soon it will be time to drag the skiff out to hit these backwater lil lakes that warm fast to get those prespawn slabs.
Good luck fishing men.
