8HP KICKER MOTOR????

Im looking for a good price on a merc 8 0r 9.9hp long shaft 4stroke.

I know most any dealer can order me a brand new one. But Im looking for something maybe in stock and non current or used even.

Maybe someone can help me a sugestion?

Try Wards Marina on Bath Rd, they usually have a couple of used kickers in stock, plus they are great to deal with.

thanks swampbuster. I did call them first. The salesman told me to go online and check out the stock? I dident understand that? But I did check them out online. THey dident have anything.

I ended up ordering a 06 from a dealer in windsor area. Port colborn marine. They are even going to ship to me for a small fee.

2006 8hp merc long shaft 4 stroke with a one year warnety and shipping. just oer $2000. I think thats a great price.

Now i just hope it arrives in time for the opener this weekend

Congrats on the new motor. Once motor is hooked up and you get a chance to test it out, let me know results. Are you able to control throttle and shift gears from console, or just steering?
