Looking for a Bimini Top for a 14' Utility Boat

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Looking for a Bimini Top for a 14' Utility Boat

Post by troutnmuskiehunter »

Does any one know if there's a bimini top kit available for a 14' boat??

Or can someone suggest where to get one custom made within the Ottawa/Ottawa valley area??

Thanks....

I've been looking around a bit as well and ran across
http://www.gmitopdesign.com

I think there used to be a fellow out of Cornwall who did custom tops as well.

Bimini top

I know that both Legend and Princecraft make one for thier utilities. We are planning on getting one ourself. The guy from Buckeye Marine in Bobcaygeon told me that they have one from Princecraft that will fit my boat but is a little expensive. Then he said they have someone else that makes them aftermarket/or custom that can do it cheaper. They are nice when on the boat. It really helps in keeping the sun off your noggen!

Hey Trouthunter,
I recently purchased a top from GMITopDesign via the internet. had the unit within the week ,very easy to install, good quality material . I went with the upgrade on the connectors from plastic to stainless.

Based on the posts above, I checked out the http://www.gmitopdesign.com/ site and took the plunge.

I placed my order on Sat, June 30th and had the top in my hands by Wed, July 4th (keep in mind that Mon July 1st was a holiday). The turn around time was incredible!

The bimini top itself was perfect and totally exceeded my expectations. I assembled it in a jiffy and installed it even more quickly.

Thanks for the referral! :D

T. & L. Upholstery in Edwards does biminis and travel covers. I hear they do good work. Also Lake and Trail in Perth has a lady who apparently does good work as well.
