Charlston Lake trout

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Its been slow for me but some others have been catching.

It all comes down to timing. Every time I have had the time to go it has been the day after a cold front goes through. :? I think someone is telling me something
(I need to work less and take more time off  )

Got there this morning. Trolled all over the lake. Only a few boats out. Finally picked up a small laker. Later we picked up a small pike and 3 small bass. It was a nice day to be out but the catch was nothing to write home about.
