Some pic's from the week.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Some pic's from the week.

Post by slop »

I don't have a mind-blowing report from a far- off destination or shot's that will grace the pages of the mags that we all like to read.

After catching that wee raaaaaaacoon, I discovered that not everyone feels the same way about those critters as i do . Bear attacks are making the news these days so bug them will ya!

Got to spend some time on new water and techniques with none-other than Bill Izumi....He's starting to get on the program for the Walleye bite.

I showed him that ya don't need mono to catch Wallye....

Managed a catfish on a tube, just to inspire the young Izumi :P ...

As i was laying back in the weeds, i thought about using the camera for some action shots....the director..with an eye

Everybody one the 1's....picture up!....rolling sound....AND ACTION!!!!!

Was a great week! finished it off with some more eyes and smallies

These are my best smallies from the year soooo far...i just did the "do nothing" technique...it's some thing thats been around forever. I like it cause it means less casts and better control for more Bigguns.

Nice report. One question: How do you make photos during the fight (I mean the photos with the pike)?

Well milchner, the camera that took those shots is very expensive. The camera belonged to my buddy who joined me that day. I believe it roughly costs $1,200.00 The camera looks more like the larger 35mm type instead of the little silver types that you see nowadays. This thing can snap pictures as fast as you can push the button. As for getting the Pike to perform those acrobatic moves, they always want to jump and shake their head to try and get rid of the lure. You can expect this kind of behavior at the boat-side. You can also count on a good shower from them too when ya go to release them.

Ted.......It'd be an honor to get out again with ya for toothies :D Nothing better than beating the water to a froth and shaving my shoulder blades down to nothing from casting lures that are the size of fish that I'd be happy to catch
