Silver Lake fishing from shore

Drove home today from work and see a little picnic area which looks like a nice place to try fishing from shore.....anyone know if you can catch anything in that little picnic area? what does that lake hold?

fished at silver lake several years ago, it has bass, pike and lots of sunfish etc.. heard there are lake trout but never tried to fish for it.

We stop there everytime on our way south and sometimes I wet a line. I've caught bass. They stock it every year with Lake Trout but they'll be deep now. Maybe right after ice-out you might find a few cruising in the shallows.
