shore fishing in the ottawa area

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

shore fishing in the ottawa area

Post by paid2fish »

Hi All,
I've got my 3 year old daughter all to myself Sunday and thought I might try to introduce her to fishing. At 3 I figure I can keep her interested for about 30 minutes and longer if we catch something. We will try using worms or minnows under a cork for the sake of simplicity. Can anyone suggest a place with easy access we can go to catch a few fish (size and species does not matter)?
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Hey - Not sure where you are writting from, but you can always try the upper part of the Long Island Locks on River Rd, Manotick Mill, Blacks Rapids on HWY 16 near Fallowfield, Jock River Landing, HWY 16
