OK.this is a bit.. :? question.

some might not like it.



if i fish alone in my boat, i am allowed one rod.right.. :?: .

yes one rod.


if i go wit a guide...he is allowed one rod and my rod...so 2 rod...but we all no...that i will be catching fish on both rods......right..?

because i get more % off gething fish if i am alowed the 2 rod in the boat right..?

because more fish in the boat..clients feel good/happy clients..

but why should i be allowed the 2 rod...?.it guive me doble the chance..just because i have a guide wit me.


why the client would it be allowed only is own rod.not the guide rod.


mabe the client should be allowed only on is own rod only...no /yes..?



this is just a question..so dont get allover this guys. :lol:

Or just wait until the winter fishing is on in Quebec and you can fish out of your boat with 5 rods.

Being a holder of a valid license Joco, the guide will put the other rod in the water to increase the chances of the client going home happy.

Weather it's one rod or 2, the rods are still the guides so why not increase the chance of catching ...I'm sure if you were with a guide and asked to only have one rod in the water he might consider it...probably would think your nuts , but why shouldn't the guide increase the chance of catching....thats what he is getting paid for.

And the guides I know are just as if not more happy seeing a client catch instead of himself.

Wallyboss I am pretty sure that out of your boat you are only allowed 1 rod in quebec but 5 on ice or 10 from the st lawrence.

hi dh.

actualy....we are allowed.5 rod.real rod in winter season.....if we are in open water in a boat we are allowed 5 rod in some sector and 10 rod in other.that question have been asnwer by the mnr.in one other quebec internet site.....is it ok to do so..............?????

but we are allowed...and i just found out about that a cople weeks ago.this is....... :shock:


last year we were fishin on a dock.wit one rod.and a guy was fishing like 80 feet frome us on ice wit 5 tip up........so the question have been ask why.he is alooweed 5 tip up and us one rod.....nope we were allowed 5 rod.real full lenght rod...

weird but true...this is on quebec side,dont no about ontario side...

so imagine........we are allowed 5 tip up on ce qiebec side...........and 5 full leght rod on water during ice seaon.........wow.

this is stuff that will be talk about... :roll: .

.you are right..

i would love to have 2 rods.(and get more chance3)..wit a guide..but why is it ok.to be like that.




but why.the client have the chance to fish wit 2 rod......?
to get more chance to get a fish..but he would be the only one fishing the 2 line... :? .

so because i fish wit a guide its ok to have 2 line. :? .

i dont want to start anything. but this is not fair to other people.......if i got monney i can hirer a guide and kind off fishing wit 2 rod.

i do no the guide want to get is client to have more chance.but why would it be deferent then anybody hesle.....?



i am not beeing jugement..just want to see if its fair for the rest off hundreds off towsend fishermans..that dont fish wit a guide.

its just a question in a question.

i want all fisherman to be on the same level.....guide or not.

its sad to see that because somebody have $$ they have more chance because they can fish wit more rods and so on. :? .

So when in PQ does it become legal to use 5 rods?...what constitutes "winter" fishing?

wen i volontere at the fishing festival in hull every year.....parents bring the kids to get there permit to be able to get one more limit for every child.. 8) .



lot off people bring kids just for that other for them to have fun and catch some fish and other to fish only and so on.

its already hard to keep kids fishing 100% off the time so.


wish i had kids..... 8) :lol: .can we rent some... :?: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's a grey area Joco....and one that will never be answered....

I know a few guides that bring their kids out with them and basically use them as rod gnomes for clients... :lol:

and we taught it was on ice wit tip up.nothing to do wit ice or tip up.its date only..so we are realy allowed 5 rod or 10 ..wree you are.. :shock: .
