Carp Bait
Does anyone have a proven carp bait? Also tips on terminal tackle rigging and chumming. I have the Grand River and some ponds at my disposal.

If you're looking to fly fish for carp you're best bet is to nymph for them. Either a Pheasant Tail Nymph or a Hare's Ear nymph would be a good start. Below is a link to an article on fly fishing for carp. No chumming required.

Thanks guys, I used to bow fish for them, catch and release was a little hit and miss
. After having been spooled a couple of times using the same rod that landed salmon, I've come to respect them as a fish worth targeting. Salar do you use strike indicators with your nymphs or are the strikes unmistakable??

White Lake
Salar I take it you've fished White Lake since you are from Arnprior. We fished it 2 years ago, we had a Doctor visiting from New Zealand join us and he inspired my kids and I to start flyfishing. He outfished the boat using an olive wooly bugger, catching bass pike and perch. I love that lake.
