Ditto. any bay from Longue Sault to Iroquois. Evidently the St.Lawrence is the Mecca of Carp fishing. The Rideau Canal was probably the first body of water I fished way back when. I'll never forget that stick and white string
We used to fish under the Laurier St bridge, downtown. The carp are big mainly because they are Ottawa river fish who come up the locks. I've also caught eels, barbot, and crappie there too.
We used to make our version of the now available dough balls. You need that kind of bait there otherwise you'll be catching panfish.

Can anyone tell me when is the earliest time to fish for Carp at Long Sault will be.
Also i'm planning to fish with corn, is this a good idea?
