Fitzroy Harbour

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Does anyone know where you can shore fish for pike/eyes in Fitzroy harbour? I've heard there are some decent pike in the area there.

check out morris island conservation area(near fitzroy). right off loggers road(maybe loggersway road) wich is off of galleta. there used to be some fishing platforms but they took those down. good spot for shore fishing. it's also nice and quiet!

hope this helps

There used to be a little causeway/pier built at Morris Island for fishing, it was there a few years back when I fished there.

If its anything like it used to be, theres the odd pike lurking around about 30 feet from the platform

Check out the Morris Island conservation area, it has pier....

Just kidding Katch Moore...

But in all seriousness, if you go to Andrew Haydon park, and go up a little to the mini-light house, you can fish from the shore and catch niiiice pike on nights like tonight.

Good luck.
