Lowrance H2OC problem

Post by Billy Bones »

Has anyone had trouble with the external power source for this unit? Just bought it and the plug in power cord seems to heat up.

It is spring loaded I think!! First cause of heating up is usually poor contact. Make sure that everything is tight.

I have no problem with mine.

Hey Wallyboss

you're right about the poor contact. If I move the wire next to the plug that goes into the unit, I can get the light on the plug that goes into the power source to go off and on. Hope I don't have to send the whole thing back for a faulty external power cord.

Thanks
