My trolling motor has died, looks like this is it this time. I need a 55 lb. bow mounted trolling motor. Nothing fancy, no GPS or even sonar, so who and what would anyone suggest. I am in Ottawa if that helps.
and thanks,
Tony

Minn Kota make an awsome trolling motor, look around to see what fits you best.

MINN KOTA for sure. LeBaron has the best prices, replacement parts are easy to get if needed, best warranty.

I don't know if you're adamant about it being 55 lb. thrust or not,
but if yer flexible I have a Maxxum 44 that's collecting dust in my garage.
I can only use a transom mount (which I have) so the bow mount is no good to me.
Lemme know if yer interested.

I hope you all get this reply, I just bought a boat from Andre Lalonde out in Wendover as well purchased a wireless MotorGuide trolling motor for a good price installed. Give them a call

I have them at Paddletales and I would challenge the statement about a certain other store having the best prices.
