Garmin 250 problems

Anybody have one of these? Any problems with it?

I have one that stopped working AGAIN last weekend. I bought this unit a few years ago and have ghad it replaced twice already, the first one was replaced on warranty, the second one cost me $50.00 to have Garmin replace with a a refurbished one,,, and this refurb lasted less than a year!!! ... Now they want $100 to replace with a refurb and I am wondering if its worth it. A comparable unit is worth about $300 as they discontinued the 250 model line.
