Hey guys...

recently picked up a little fishing raft and trying to get out as much as I can...I've tried around Petrie Island in the back bays heading west toward Blair and what not...nothing really concrete...I was wondering if you guys knew of some easily accessible spots I could get too in the raft...Thanks!

yep...been around there a couple times...cought myself a couple bass....been usin the frog lure

yeah thats what I've been using...i tried the injured jitter or whatever its called with the 2 fans on it...didnt do anythjng but the frog gets a bit of attention..

Fairly new to the fishing around the Ottawa Area. I tried the launch at Casselman, and found it really good. The real question is, are there any real fish in the Nation River?
I saw some small hits on top of the water; but they were fairly small fish.
Are there anyone fishing around there.
When it came to the fork in the river... I went right... was that a mistake?
Must say though... really a pretty area.

lots of places from petrie to plantagenet,do u need trailer access?without payin?thats harder.lotta places to park and walkin.,or drop a canoe.as 4 the nation ,thats my fun river, catch and release ,lots of big cats and carp.,fish above and below any current or neck ,some walleye and sauger also.
