What ever happened to this store ?

Anybody went to this store? Where is it now? who knows more

I went to the store once just to see what they had. It was run by east europeans and was pretty much exclusively focused on carp fishing(European tackle, rods, rigs, etc) that is popular in europe.

My guess it that they went under given the poor location, and very small customer base.

He was right accross the highway from me and I would drop in from time to time. I bought some cool Crappie jigs off of him and we'd shoot the breeze about Crappie fishin'. I believe he had a break-in and maybe that is what sent him packin'

That's unfortunate.
You don't know where he went, or how we can get a hold of him?

They had something I was looking for, ..for a long time, namely a 2.7meter Telescopic fishing rod high quality made in Austria (Byron)..and some special wooden floats (again hard to find) and even spare spools for all types of reels..etc etc I don't know any good fishing stores in Ottawa other then Le Baron..
