hey all

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What type of fish are you trying to catch? I hear there is a large bottom feeding sucker type of fish named Gordon Brown...

Good luck!

Hi Irish
Pollock and Cod, brings back a lot of memories, is used to fish the Solent, of the south coast of England. Species were pollock, cod, sea bass, conger eel and flounder.
Here in Ontario, it is all freshwater fishing, lakes and rivers, and no tides.
Species are mostly largemouth and smallmouth bass, rockbass, panfish (which covers a lot of smaller fish) walleye, pike and muskie to name a few.
I still have my 12' beachcaster and baitcaster reel, I used to be able to throw a 4oz weight about a 100yds, but haven't done it for years.
I'd love to see a few reports, post some pics and let us see what you're catching.
